Dr. Vander Plaats is a livestock veterinarian with a special interest in obstetrics, the branch of veterinary medicine related to birthing & neonatal care. She has extensive experience with correcting dystocia, or difficult birth, from simple corrections to C-sections. Dr. Vander Plaats has experience from the veterinarian side, as well as from the herd manager side.
