Suture Lab Package

This lab is a student favorite that introduces the ideas of instrument handling, tissue handling, suture patterns for different purposes, & tying knots. Students LOVE practicing suture techniques performed to close wounds or close surgical incisions & using real veterinary instruments to practice common veterinary suture patterns. This lab guide includes lab purpose, laboratory objectives, complete supply lists, relevant reference materials, more specific activity instructions for the instructor, & pro tips. This lab is designed to be completed at the student's individual pace after a one hour introductory lecture (included in this package) & pairs well with our Laboratory How To Videos on suturing & suture patterns.
